Ajora Academy ("Ajora Academy", "we", "us", "our") provides a free-to-browse library of Sri Lankan Advanced Level (A/L) and Ordinary Level (O/L) past papers, marking schemes, and paid Unit Bundles, together with optional student accounts. This policy explains what information we collect when you use ajora.academy (the "Site"), why we collect it, and the choices you have.
By using the Site you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
If you create a free account, we ask for your name, email address, and a password. We never see or store your password in plain text — it's hashed before it's saved.
When you're logged in, we keep track of papers you've saved or bookmarked, and a history of the documents you've downloaded, so your dashboard can show them back to you.
If you contact us for support, or report an issue with a paper, we'll have whatever you included in that message (e.g. your email address and message contents).
Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard technical information for security and performance purposes — things like IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps. We don't use this to build advertising profiles.
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the Site:
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason.
When you buy a Unit Bundle, your payment is handled by a licensed third-party payment gateway. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded (and which bundle it was for) so we can unlock it on your account — we do not receive or store your card number, CVV, or online banking credentials.
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we're required to keep limited records (e.g. transaction records) for legal or accounting purposes.
Ajora Academy is built for A/L and O/L students, many of whom are under 18. We've tried to keep the information we ask for to the minimum needed to run the Site — an email address and a name, nothing more — and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data from students.
If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information beyond what's described here, or you'd like their account information deleted, please contact us using the details below and we'll act on it promptly.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including password hashing and encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and our servers. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to keep your data safe and to respond quickly if anything goes wrong.
You can ask us to:
To make any of these requests, contact us using the details in Section 12. We'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.
We may update this policy as the Site changes. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
Questions about this policy, or requests about your data, can be sent to privacy@ajoraacademy.com.
